Use of natural materials
When constructing our Tannenheim three-star hotel, we tried to use as few materials as possible, leaving them in their natural state wherever possible. This mix of raw materials creates a special ambiance and a pleasant atmosphere in rooms. Nature peers in through the large windows – a spectacle in any season.

Domestic woods
Larch and spruce in the rooms, windows and doors, furnishings in the bar and dining room.

Stone
Grey slate used for the floors and some walls

Metal
Raw steel for the stairs and signs

Exposed concrete
The black sand of our moraines is washed into the valley by the crystal clear glacier water of the Trafoi stream – until it reaches the so-called Prader Sand. There it is mined and used for the production of concrete.
